My stay at the Holiday Inn Muscat Alseeb was quite pleasant overall. The staff, especially Sagar in the restaurant and Mona at the front desk, were attentive and went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. The location is convenient for the airport, but nothing lovely nearby. While the facilities were decent, there were some minor hiccups, like a broken plug. I'd definitely recommend it for short stays, though.
